Study Tour Noodle that consists of 28 students and professors from Twente University undergraduate and graduate school of Netherland, visited ID KAIST on Sep 25 and had a workshop. Study Tour Noodle had beforehand investigated the society, economy and technology of Korea and China under the subject of 'IT integrated lifestyle¡¯, and had a workshop with ID KAIST students to verify the previous studies and to exchange opinions. ID KAIST students also introduced various research outputs of HRI and HCI, the vision of the department, and the academic curricula. Professors of Twente (prof.dr. P.J.M. (Paul) Havinga, dr.ir. R. (Rom) Langerak, dr. N. (Nirvana) Meratnia) and those of ID KAIST discussed about Human Media Interaction programs and further cooperation plans.
Study Tour noodle was scheduled to stay 2 weeks in Korea and another 2 weeks in China visiting representative institutions of IT, education, and research; ID KAIST was the first place of their tour.
