Professor Bae and his team members (ID+IM) have exhibited Nanum MP3 Player on the "2008 IDEA Contest". They have received Silver Award on the actually manufactured goods of "Entertainment" category. This Nanum Project was held by the "World Vision" to contribute to the society through design by granting all the profit (approximately $500,000) as scholarship for the students who need financial aids. IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), the contest of the U.S,, is among the 3 top design contests along with IF(International Forum) of German and the Reddot . Exhibits of the IDEA are screened and awarded by IDSA and Business Week. This award winning news was published on Business Week and The New York Times, magazines of the U.S and CNN as well. There will be a ceremony of awarding the Prize in Phoenix, USA this coming September.
