Sanghun Jung (38, KAIST ID, Ph.D #1, advisor Kun-Pyo Lee) has posted his synopsis of doctorate thesis on the KANSEI Engineering International(The International Journal of KANSEI Engineering), and this re-titled essay has been officially selected as the Literary Award of 2008 in the engineer field. The 10th award ceremony for the Japan’s Human Sensibility Ergonomics Contest will be held in Ootsuma Women’s University of Chiyoda campus from September 8~10th. Jung has entered the doctor’s course of ID KAIST in year 2002 to pursue more professional knowledge and to accomplish academic achievements under the guidance of Professor Kun-Pyo Lee. Jung has done massive research on the product interface, interaction, usability and sensibility. Jung has received the very first doctorate degree of ID KAIST on his thesis called The Effects of Usability of Products on User’s Emotions, in February, 02, 2007. From March 2002, when he first entered doctorate course, until February 2007, when he ended the course, he has written two international scientific journals, eight national research papers, and eighteen national publication theses. Since March of year 2007, Jung is in art School of Mokwon University in the Design department. He is continuously researching on his field and giving lectures to the Industrial Design major of the undergraduates.
