Organized by the Korean Society for Emotion and Sensibility (president: Professor Kun-Pyo Lee), International Symposium for Emotion and Sensibility 2008 was held at KAIST on June 27 and 28. More than 70 papers were presented from 5 countries including Japan, Taiwan, USA, Singapore, and Korea, and researchers in various disciplines, such as design, psychology, textile, medicine, and mechanical engineering, participated. During the symposium, an MOU among three emotion societies?KSES(Korea), JSKE(Japan), TIK(Taiwan)?was agreed to continue collaborative research activities. For this symposium, ID KAIST hosted, the BK21 Research Unit and DM/DMIC of ID KAIST sponsored, and our 16 graduate students volunteered.
