KyoungHee Son, a Ph.D. student of the I2DEA lab (Prof. Seok-Hyung Bae), presented an academic paper at the 17th ACM Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing (CSCW 2013). The paper, (co-authored by Cheong-Ha Park, Joon Hyub Lee, and Seok-Hyung Bae) showed a new possibility of involving a crowd to solve creative problems, by introducing ‘Crowd vs. Crowd', a new design method to encourage the general crowd to take part in design processes under competitive and collaborative environments. CSCW is one of the top-three international conferences in the HCI field, recently seizing the limelight in the field of design while expanding its social network services. This marks the first time ID KAIST has presented a paper in CSCW
