Master candidate Hyoung-wook Jo from the Design Management Lab won 3rd prize at the Citroen Creative Awards 2012 held by the PSA Peugeot-Citroen group, France. This year’s topic was “to dream up innovative smartphone apps to make life easier for drivers and passengers.” The winners of the competition were invited to Paris for the award ceremony and participated in a collaborative workshop with PSA group engineers. Hyoung-wook’s idea was to record driving emotion with smartphone camera and music-aware function, and voice recording. And surprisingly, an alumni of Design Management Lab, Tae-sook Lee, won the 1st prize of this competition.
