Prof. Youn-kyung Lim was invited and attended the ACM SIGCHI Asia Workshop in Beijing, held on 3/25~3/27. This workshop was for enhancing the awareness of Asian CHI communities?needs to each other and increasing the significance of the contribution of Asian CHI communities to the HCI discipline. ACM SIGCHI Executive Committee members also attended the workshop to support this. In this workshop, she and two other professors (Prof. Geehyuk Lee, KAIST and Prof. Yong Gu Ji, Yonsei University) were invited to represent the human-computer interaction community in Korea. They presented in this workshop the current state-of-the-art of HCI in Korea, and also discussed how ACM SIGCHI can help the Korean HCI community as well as the whole Asian HCI community.
