Exhibition-Sale of "Design Creatures"

Fourty-seven students participated in this project, called, “Design Creatures”, of the class, “ID 211 Two-Dimensional Design (lecturer: Professor Hyeon-Jeong Suk & Ji-Won Song;)” in the ID KAIST. The majority of the students were in their ­first semester, majoring in industrial design, and seven weeks were allotted to the project. The purpose was to strengthen the students’ ability to visualize formal, behavioral, and semantic characteristics of creatures, to generate product ideas, and to bring them to the marketplace By doing so, students obtained a comprehensive understanding of the process of product design from concept to promotion. In this year, students created T-shirts Design with the theme of 12 zodiacs that are displayed and sold at the KAIST Book Cafe located in the foyer of the KAIST Science Library. (April 9 ~ May 7)
