Yinzhu Piao, an undergraduate student of IDKAIST, and Prof. Tek-Jin Nam won the Outstanding Paper Award at DSUS (Design Seminar on University Students) 2021 Spring. This conference was held remotely in Korea on May 29, in parallel with KSDS Spring International Conference.

 

In their paper, “Interactive Toy Theater Authoring System for Children's STEAM Education”, they presented a STEAM educational system that helps children to learn technologies, improve hands-on skills and expand creativity at the same time by authoring original toy plays with interactive automata characters.
