The world’s first handheld sound camera developed by Professor Seok-Hyung Bae was selected as one of the Top 10 KAIST’s Outstanding R&D Achievements of the year for 2013. This product won the 2013 Red Dot Award for Product Design. Unlike previous large, heavy, and built-up-type models, this new product is small, light, and all-in-one, with its usability remarkably improved by enabling users to freely hold and carry it to explore noise sources in various environments.
