The research of Kyungah Choi and Prof. Hyeon-Jeong Suk reported in the press

The Huffington Post (Apr 29, 2016) released an interview with Kyungah Choi and Prof. Hyeon-Jeong Suk (Color Lab) about their recent study on classroom lighting. Entitled “Dynamic lighting system for the learning environment: performance of elementary student,” the study was published in the journal Optics Express, a top-ranked journal in the optics field. In the study, they investigated the effects of lighting color temperatures on elementary students’ performance, and thereby proposed a dynamic lighting system for a smart learning environment. The study shows that small changes in classroom environment, such as lighting conditions, could make a dramatic difference in supporting students’ learning.
